I've done this walk twice, on both occasions we were blessed with good weather, it's got a bit of everything, forest, open mountain and green road, nice views of the Golden Vale and the Galtees. Anyone of moderate fitness could do this walk, however I must point out that the times given for many of the trails on this site may put people off as they are far too long. The time given for this walk is 5 hours, we did it comfortably with photo stops and a lunch break in under 3 hours.

An excellent walk, with a variety of surfaces. Climb up towards the Cairns on the RHS is a nice push, loose stones so good boots a necessity. Very boggy in places leading up to Seefin but on a good day I am told you can see the mountains of Killarney from here, I am not sure about this though! Great views of the Golden Vale and Castle Oliver on this walk.

This is a really enjoyable walk. Make sure you start from the car park or you will find it difficult to follow the markers. The path is high quality and leads up through forest to a lovely ridge with great views. The walk to Seefin at the top is boggy but is worth the detour.
