Waterski & Wakeboarding

Waterski and Wakeboarding are high intensity and semi extreme sports.

Waterski is where a skier ( similar to snow skiers) wear a pair of skis and are towed by a speedboat till they are standing and skiing, as you progress you will end up on one ski and hopefully progress to competition where slalom, trick and Jump are individual disciplines.

Wakeboarding is best described as snowboarding on water, again the rider wears bindings which are attached to a board, they are then towed by a boat ( or a cable system) and again once up they can progress quickly to do many tricks, inverts, jumps and spins.

Both Waterski and Wakeboard are fully inclusive and we have visually impaired and physically and intellectually disabled athletes in our sport, we are a 32 County NGB with Clubs all over the Island of Ireland.
