Odilon from Sligo
There is a second longer walk (4km) which takes you along the side of Benbulben, through a woodland with great views of Benbulben and the surrounding countryside and fantastic panoramic views of the coastline. I did this walk to day - it was sunny and cold, but very pleasant. The start of this walk is an incline. One area is quite exposed and the wind was very strong - a disadvantage on the way up but a real advantage on the way down. The information poster advises this as a 1.5 hour walk but we did it, even with stops to admire the views, in an hour. It's an easy walk and we even met a family with a child in a buggy on the way.
Enjoy!
