we did this loop with group from slieve blooms sept 3rd
great walk well done to all who maintain it.
it had rained very heavy on previous day,
very well signposted and even though our views were obscured in mist and fog
at the top. it cleared up as we decended and we had fab views
it was wet under food as was expected... were well used to that ...
the fuschia and crocrosmia little laneway on way back is a real gem..
id recommend it or beentee loop anytime to good kitted out walkers
thank you

There is also bus access with a Bus Eireann and Local Link bus stop next to the start.
Fantastic views from the top of Beentee Mountain of Valentia Island and the Dingle Peninsula.
The 'little laneway' as described in a previous review has Fuschia and Crocrosmia which are lovely but on my visit the laneway was completely overgrown and near on impassible. A shears is needed badly to tackle this. This was disappointing as the majority of the walk was pleasant.
