This spectacular walk through a mix of mountain and coastal landscape follows an old access road on Bray Head to reach an abandoned Signal Tower and cliff. The views are panoramic, initially looking down on both Horse and Long island then gaining height towards the Tower from where the Skelligs can be seen in the distance while the coastal scenery of the cliff below and the surrounding countryside is spectacular.

Great walk. Very wet on the descent if you follow the loop. Use insect repellent!!

Lovely moderate walk with fantastic views of the Skelligs and over as far as Deenish & Scariff islands off Lambs Head. Be prepared for 4 seasons in 1 outing like we encountered in March. Soft under foot on return leg if previously raining; walking boots essential as well as rain gear if clouds look heavy.

It is worth to climb up the hill and also to follow the circular - not just going up and down. Beautiful view on the cliffs. The sheeps in the stock made it challenging with our dogs - but we all enjoyed the walk.

Just wonderful. The path up is straight and broad with fabulous views of Portmagee far below and the Skellig Islands in the distance but as you reach the tower the view opens up so you can see the Dingle peninsula and the totally unspoilt hills on the North of Valentia island. The climb onward to the top of some unimaginably high cliffs is spectacular and seems to be as far as most people are prepared to go so from now on you will hardly see a soul The path becomes narrower but is easy to follow and well signed and the views are even better looking down onto a little windy road far below as the loop walk continues around and back to the car park. Dont hesitate just do it, can't wait to do it all again when we visit in June 2017

Can't recommend this enough, views over Peninsula and out to the Skelligs are great. First part of the walk is really easy, gets a bit trickier up from the house at the end - some of the footing was mucky on the way down the hill so wear good shoes and take time to admire the awesome views.
