This loop takes you on forestry roads and tracks as it ascends the shoulder of Knockduv Mountain before descending and running below the Knockduv ridge and Knocknatallig, giving views over the surrounding countryside of the Golden Vale. It is crossed in places by cycle tracks.

This is mainly a walk through a lot of fire roads, though it has some lovely views and is recommended as a stroll as opposed to anything really challenging. On the easy side of moderate. Can also be done at night as safe and good surfaces.
