TI National Coaching Series

16 Dec 2013

January Workshop now open for bookings

Following
on from the success of last year’s series of workshops the National Coaching
Series is set to start in January 2014.

The aim
of this programme is to deliver a progressive series of workshops that offer a high
level of learning around all areas of performance endurance sport. You will be
presented with the most up to date material, detailed training plans and how
the world’s best athletes train.

Bringing
together some of the very best practitioners in Irish sport our aim is to
create a stimulating and challenging environment that will enable you to take
away applied skills and gain a better understanding of how to improve on your
day to day delivery as a coach.

The Series is being led by Triathlon Ireland's Technical
Director Tommy Evans with assistance from National Development Coach Stephen
Delaney. A number of other experts in their field including Eanna McGrath
(Base2Race, Swim Analysis) and Strength & Conditioning professionals will
also provide insight to coaches and athletes attending the workshops.

The
workshops will have the following components, creating an interactive learning
experience:

  • A key presentation around
    the workshop subject matter.
  • Sports specific break out
groups, encouraging stimulating and challenging debate, in context of the
    key note presentation.
  • Applied skill learning in
small groups working with experts in their field.
  • Take away reading
    recommendations.
