Irish Heart Week - 21-27 September

The Irish Heart Foundation is encouraging adults to Walk for Heart by stepping it out and becoming more active this Irish Heart Week September 21-27. The campaign will educate the public on the many health benefits of being regularly active and the national heart health charity is encouraging individuals, communities and workplaces to sign up to a 4-week Walking or Step Challenge. Supported by the HSE (Health Service Executive), Irish Heart Week helps motivate individuals to be more active over a 4-week period and to build up activity or walking levels to the recommended 30 minutes of moderate activity 5 days a week.
