June 14 - Sunday

Dublin - Dublin Family Fun Day

  • National Bike Week will open with an event focusing on family fun and cycling. A portion of Dublin's Phoenix Park will be closed off for the exclusive use of cyclists. There will be a host of activities for all the family.
  • We may even try to break a cycling-related World Record, so we look forward to seeing you there to help put Ireland in the record books! There will also be music, entertainment and, of course, bicycle workshops.

Dublin - Mountain Bike Race

  • Round 7 of the Cross-Country National Points Series but is open to all riders. Basic/beginners category ("Sports") for anyone wanting to try mountainbiking. Also, youth categories down to Under 8's. Riders should register online to save time and money.

Dublin - Bike to Work Day

  • Wednesday, June 17 is "Bike to Work Day". Whether you're a regular or an occasional bike commuter, or have often thought about cycling to work, June 17th is the day for you.

 

Dublin - Dublin City Cycle

  • On Wednesday evening there will be a City Cycle through Dublin's City Centre. A special cordon will be placed along a selected route where cyclists can travel freely along unencumbered from most of the usual busy traffic. Join us for a unique trip through the capital's streets.

Galway - Cycling skills workshop / Bicycle health check fair

  • Come and learn some helpful tips for cycling around the City from a qualified instructor and West Coast Wheelers Cycling Club. Europa Bicycles based in Earls Island have kindly sponsored a prize of a bike worth €400, so come along to the cycling fair and you could be cycling home on a new bike!
