Olympians Peter O'Leary & Tim Goodbody win the Star Eastern European Championship 2009

Irish Sailors Peter O'Leary & Tim Goodbody have just won the 2009 Star Eastern European Championship in Hyeres, France. In the final day of racing O'Leary & Goodbody took 2nd and 3rd to win their first major regatta of the year.

Both sailors competed in the 2009 Beijing Olympic Games but not together. It is only since than that Goodbody moved from the single-handed Finn dinghy to crew with O'Leary in the Star class.
