ARTHRITIS IRELAND Pick A Peak to Climb in Aid of Juvenile Arthritis

18 May 2009

Have an adventure to remember with your friends or family this summer and join the hundreds of others who will Pick A Peak to climb, in aid of Juvenile Arthritis.

Pictured at this year's launch of Pick A Peak is Irish rugby player Girvan Dempsey, comedian Karl Spain, Newstalk presenter Claire Byrne and 11 year old intrepid explorer Sean McSharry who will join the hundreds of people from all across Ireland who will participate in Pick A Peak this year.

What is Pick a Peak?

It's a fun and novel hill-walk that will have teams on top of peaks all over Ireland! This unique challenge is designed for people of all ages and fitness abilities - just pick the peak that's best for you and your family or friends and climb it on Saturday July 11th.
We have put together a list of over 50 peaks to choose from, or choose your own. It's not only a great reason to get out and enjoy Ireland's landscape but all funds raised go towards providing services for children and young people with arthritis in your community.

What Peaks are included?

We have a list of over 50 peaks to choose from - call 01 6618188 or download the full list of peaks here. But no need to let that hold you back, if there is a peak that you would rather climb, just let us know and we will add it to the list.

  • Step 2: Register today by downloading a registration form here . Each team of 4 pays a registration fee of just €25pp.
