This is a beautiful walk, but I have concerns about the works that are being done to the Cliff Walk at the moment by Waterford County Council. It is currently being fitted with a 1.4m high chain-link fence all the way along and will destroy the views of the cliffs and seascape for all children and smaller people who cannot see over the fence. They say it is for health and safety, but it is too severe.

An excellent short walk along a spectacular section of the Waterford Coastline and full of historical interest. It's well worth spending longer than an hour to do the walk by visiting the many points of interest along the way. I just wish that more of the Waterford coast was opened up to the walker. A coastal trail would generate so much revenue for the local economy.

Very simple short trail but it is excellent. Beautiful cliff side walk on a well marked trail. The circuit begins and ends at the beautiful Cliff Hotel which is worthwhile for a nice lunch or cool drink.

This is a really great walk - amazingly breathtaking scenes over the bay and the chance to even spot a whale in the right season. Very easy access and path suitable for all ages and some interesting places to stop and take in the views. Amazing history for such a short walk.....St.Declan's well and the Round Tower to name but a few....and the hotel is well worth visiting for a refreshment.
