This trail takes you along the edge of an old oak woodland currently managed by NPWS and formerly part of the Cooper Estate. There are views of the surrounding Ox Mountain range, Knocknarea, Ballygawley Lake and the landscape of Sligo and Leitrim.

Nice walk. Worth diverting up to Union Rock for a look. The directions get a bit confusing about 2km in. Keep left and open the green gate....enjoy
