This Slí na Slainte trail on the slopes of Cruagh Mountain has a hard core surface throughout. It offers panoramic views of the Tibradden, Two Rock, Three Rock and Glendoo Mountains as well as Dun Laoghaire Harbour and Howth with Dublin spread at your feet.

I have done this trail on numerous occasions. On a clear day the views are amazing. I just wish that dog walkers/people who own dogs pick up the poo and take it HOME with them. So very frustrating for the folk that actually enjoy the mountains and adhere to LEAVE NO TRACE including dog poo bags.

Accessible walk, good views over Dublin. Suitable for kids, surface is flat and walk not strenous.

Very easy trail, walked with 5 and 8 years old kids it took us 1.5 hrs. Unfortunately trail is mainly used by dozens of dog walkers, obviously unleashed dogs, jumping on you every time u pass by. Honestly not nice experience...
