Great walk but not very well sign posted!! Ended up taking the scenic route back.

This is a fabulous walk. Took this trek on a sunny Sunday and we had clear blue skies with no wind, a first in my many years in Howth. The views were fantastic and on the day we were there we saw plenty of action from the cliffs, men diving from the rocks, kayakers, the Sea Cat leaving Dublin Port and a huge cruise liner in the bay. You can see Wicklow Head on a clear day. My only gripe is that a couple more signs are needed, at the summit car park and also at the fork on the way back at Cannon Rock. We actually ended up in the Cannon Rock estate having taken a wrong turn. Nice easy walk apart from an incline near the beginning. Some nice rest spots on the loop. Overall a great day out.

A fabulous walk in the sunshine :)

It is an absolutely fabulous walk and the views are indeed spectacular. My only criticism would be the lack of signage, that said I'm looking forward to doing it again.
