BATON TWIRLING: World Baton Twirling Championships

The 29th World Baton Twirling Championships and the 4th International Cup will be held in the University of Limerick from 2nd to 10th August. This is the first occasion that these championships are being held in Ireland.

The first weekend will be taken up with various workshops, meetings and practice sessions. The competition will kick off on Tuesday 5th August 2008 with the International Cup, which will run for two days.

The World Championships commence on Thursday 7th and will run for four days , with the Finals talking place all day on Sunday 10th.

These championships are been hosted by the Baton Twirling Sport Association of Ireland (BTSAI).
