BASKETBALL National Cup Finals

Following an exciting Semi-Finals weekend the schedule for the Basketball National Finals have been announced. The Finals commence on Friday 25th January and finish with the Women’s and Men’s Super League Finals on Sunday (27th) afternoon.

The Super League Women’s Final is an all Munster clash between Team Montonette Hotel Cork and Bausch & Lamb Waterford Wildcats. It should be an evenly contested tussle. Both teams have many outstanding players including  Montonette’s Jennifer Strong, Michelle Fahy and Niamh Dwyer and Wildcat’s Michele Aspel, Caitriona White and American Katie McNamara. 

The Super League Men’s Final is a mouth-watering clash between reigning Super League National Cup champions Abrakebabra Tigers Tralee and Dart Killester.  Like the Women, both teams have many outstanding players including Tralee’s CJ Hadley, Chris Jordan and Michael Quirke and Killester’s Arnoud.Dahi, Paddy Kelly and Michael Bonaparte.
