Badminton Ireland

Irish Senior Badminton Championships

The Irish Senior Badminton Championships will be held in the National Badminton Centre, Baldoyle, Dublin 13 on 3rd and 4th February 2007.

This is the most important event on the domestic calendar after the Irish International Championships. The event runs over two full days and will involve over 100 matches across all events. This is the largest entry for some years and will provide some fantastic and tense encounters over the two days.

All of Ireland’s leading badminton players will be competing, including those who recently performed so gallantly in reaching the final of the Helvetia Cup- the European B Championships.

The Irish Under 15 Championships will also be running along side the Senior Championships.

Rلs na hEireann International Cross Country

The 38th Ras na hEireann International Cross Country will be held in Temonfeckin, Co Louth on Sunday 4th February 2007 at 12 noon. The race organised by Dunleer Athletic Club once again will attract a large field of international and Irish athletes.

Entries: Register online at www.rasnaheireann.com before 1st February. The website supports team & individual registration. No charge to enter on line.  All pay at gate.
