MOTOR SPORT Donegal International Rally

The 2008 Donegal International Rally will be held next weekend 13th-15th June. Once again the rally has attracted some of Ireland’s leading rally drivers for what should be an exciting weekend of rally driving.

Eamon Boland will be striving to increase his lead over 2nd place Tim Mc Nulty in the Irish Tarmac Championship. Others to watch out for are Gareth McHale, Derek McGinity and Kris Meeke.

This year’s winner will join a list of previous winners including Billy Coleman, the late Bertie Fisher, Andrew Nesbitt, Ari Vatenen and last year’s winner, the current World Rally Champion, Sebastien Loeb

The Donegal International Rally also features Historic, Junior and Fiesta Sporting Academy events.
