Homecoming: Irish Paracycling Team Arrive Home Today
The successful Irish Paracycling Team will be arriving in Terminal 2 of Dublin Airport at 17.20 today, Monday 30th March. They will arrive on Aer Lingus Flight EI609 from Amsterdam. This has been an exciting and successful World Championship campaign for the Irish Team which saw Eoghan Clifford win the World Title in the Men's C1-2-3 Scratch Race and a bronze medal in the Men's C3 3km Individual Pursuit. The tandem pairing of Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal won a bronze medal in the Women's B 3km Individual Pursuit.
With just over one year until the Paralympic Games in Rio, the Irish Paracycling Team have proven that they are a dominant force on both the track and the road, having won four medals at the UCI Paracycling Road World Championships in Greenville last summer. Clifford has been particularly impressive since his international debut last August, adding his medal haul this weekend to the two World Titles that he won in the Road Race and Time Trial in Greenville, USA.
The successful Irish team arrive back in Dublin Airport tomorrow (Monday) evening at 17.20 on Aer Lingus Flight EI 609 into Terminal 2, for anyone who is interested in welcoming them home. Sportsfile Photography will be at the homecoming and will be providing images reproduction fee free.
