European Mixed Team Championships

Double Olympians Scott Evans and Chloe Magee will lead the 2015 European Mixed Team Championships in Belgium next month.

The European Mixed Team Championships pits the top 12 teams against each other for the title of best in Europe. Ireland face host nation Belgium in their opening game of the tournament on the 11th February and England on the 12th February 2015.

The team secured their place after beating Norway, Slovakia and Bulgaria in the qualification stages of group 6 held in Baldoyle, Dublin last November.

Evans comes off a fantastic year which saw him achieve the best results of his career to date. He secured his highest ever world ranking after reaching the finals of the $120,000
Bitburger Open and winning the Brazil Grand Prix. Magee also had a very successful year and reached the quarter finals of the French Super Series and the last 16 of the All England Premier Super Series.

Evans and Magee will be joined by brothers Sam and Joshua Magee, Chloe's niece Rachael

Darragh and Sara Boyle.
