Sport Ireland assists the sports sector to build the following Organisational Capabilities -

Organisational Leadership - Organisational Leadership is a process in which an organisations management provide inspiration, direction, understanding and guidance to the organisations employee's to ensure the successful achievement of the organisations vision.

Change Management - Change Management is an approach to transitioning organisations from a current state to a desired future state. It is a process which facilitates the relevant stakeholders to accept and embrace organisational change.

Employee Performance Management - Employee Performance Management is a results oriented process to clarify for employees what is to be achieved at an organisational level. It involves an alignment of the organisation's objectives with the employees agreed performance objectives, skills requirements and development plans.

Strategic Planning - Strategic Planning is an organisation's process of creating its strategy and then making the required decisions relating to the necessary allocation of resources to successfully deliver on strategic goals.

Stakeholder Engagement - Stakeholder Engagement is the process by which an organisation involves and engages with people who may be affected by the decisions it makes or can influence the implementation of its decisions.

Corporate Governance - Corporate Governance involves regulatory mechanisms and controls, and the relationships between an organisation's management and employees, its board, and other key stakeholders, as well as the goals for which the organisation is governed.

Project Management - Project Management is the discipline of planning, organising, incentivising and controlling organisational resources to achieve specific goals.

Risk Management - Risk Management is the identification, rating and assessing of organisational risks followed by systematic and coordinated actions to minimize, control and monitor the risks.
