ATHLETICS Irish team announced for World Cross Country Championships
Athletics Ireland announced a team of 22 athletes to represent Ireland at this year’s World Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh on 30th March.
The Senior Men’s team will be led by Alistair Cragg, Clonliffe Harriers and also includes Raheny Shamrocks club-mates Vinny Mulvey and Mick Clohissy. Sli Chulainn’s Fionnuala Britton will lead the Women’s Senior team and includes Dundrum South Dublin club-mates Maria McCambridge and Linda Byrne.
A six man Junior Team led by Michael Mulhare, North Laois AC and a solo representative, Sarah Louise Treacy, Moynalvey Kilcoon AC in the Junior Women were also selected.
