Badminton: Ireland Beat Canada 4-1

Ireland took a 4-1 win over Canada in an in international match held last night in the Irish national training centre. Canada, the Commonwealth 5th seeds, travelled to Ireland to prepare for the upcoming Commonwealth games.

Ireland won the match winning 4-1 winning women's doubles, men's doubles, women's singles and mixed doubles. The Canadian team did pick up some conciliation taking the men singles. Next up for the Irish team will be a match today (Sat) against South Africa in the Galway lawn tennis club at 15:30 - the match will be streamed live on www.BadmintonIreland.TV.
