Magees Settle For Bronze At 2014 Canada Grand Prix

Sam and Chloe Magee went out of the 2014 Canada Grand Prix to Max Schwenger and Carla Nelte of Germany. The Irish pairing were seeded four with the Germans taking the number two seeding so both pairs had justified their seeding as they made the semi-final. In the semi-final the German pairing were the pair in control as the Irish despite a number of good spells of play were always chasing the game. The final score of 21-17 and 21-15 brought the Germans through to the final where they will meet number one seeds Jorrit De Ruiter and Samantha Barning of Holland.
