Irish Out In London Quarter Finals

At the London Grand Prix Gold late Friday night, Irish pair Chloe and Sam Magee faced the Indonesian 4th seeded pairing of Irfan Fadhilah and Weni Anggraini of Indonesia.

The Irish started well leading 11-7 at the mid game interval but the Indonesians came back and at took the opening set 21-19. In the second set the Irish trailed by two points for most of the set. The Indonesians at 17-15 the Indonesians broke away to seal a semi final spot taking the game and match 21-15.
