Athlete/Medical Doctor Wanted!

To keep up with the continual growth of our sport, Triathlon Ireland
is looking for an athlete representative to join our Technical Committee.  The Technical Committee will oversee and review
our rules, Manual of Guidance, races throughout our race season and advise on
the application of the ITU rules for consistency across all races.

What is Required?

The committee will meet approximately 6 times a year (or as needed) to
review our rules, Manual of Guidance and any issues arising from races
sanctioned by Triathlon Ireland.

The committee will play a vital role in ensuring the continuance of
safe and fair races for our triathlon community.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an athlete who can provide input
into rules from an athlete perspective and who is also a medical doctor to provide
guidance on the health & wellbeing of competitors.  It would be advantageous if this person also
has Motorcycle or Technical Official background.

The successful applicant does not need to be a member of Triathlon
Ireland to apply.  However, if they are
selected to be a part of the committee, they will need to become a 2014 member
of Triathlon Ireland.
