Ireland hold sixth place in Euro Championships after Dressage Phase

After the dressage phase of the European Eventing Championships at Malmo in Sweden today,Ireland holds sixth place of ten teams.

With Joseph Murphy and Electric Cruise leading the Irish attack with a notable dressage score of 44.40, and holding overnight joint 14th place, other team members also produced excellent performances over the last two days. Though dogged by withdrawals just ahead of the championships, Ireland, under new High Performance Manager Nick Turner, has delivered a strong start ahead of Saturday's cross country phase and Sunday's show jumping.
