IWA Irish Open Table Tennis Championships

Irish Wheelchair Association – Sport will host the Irish Open Table Tennis Championships at the IWA Sports Centre in Clontarf, Dublin from April 19th-23rd 2007. The competition will take place over 3 days with athletes competing in the Open, Single and Team Events.

The Irish Championships are now world renowned! 95 players from more than 20 countries will be competing in this prestigious event as an essential part of their qualification for the Beijing 2008 Paralympics.

Successful Irish Team duo of Kathleen Reynolds and Rena McCarron will be defending their Team Title again this year.

A huge amount of planning has gone into the organisation of this World Class tournament and IWA-Sport is indebted to the many volunteers who assist with the running of the tournament. Special thanks to our ball boys and girls from St Nessan’s School, Baldoyle and the Irish Umpire Association.
