Olympic Trap Shooter Derek Burnett won the Bronze medal

Top Olympic Trap Shooter Derek Burnett won the Bronze medal at the 2013 European Championships in Suhl Germany after qualifying on joint 3rd with a score of 122/125 +9+13/15+12/15.

The Gold Medal was won by the Croatian Josip Glasnovic with a score of 124/125 + 14/15 +14/15 and the Silver Medal was won by the Italian London 2012 Olympic Silver medallist Massimo Fabbrizi with a score of 122/125+14/15+10/15.

In this event Wayne Byrne placed 56 with a score of 115/125 and Philip Murphy placed 71 with a score of 109/125. Newcomer and junior shooter Ian O'Sullivan placed a great 12th position in the Junior trap category with a score of 117/125. Aoife Gormally placed 31 with a score of 64/75 in the womens trap category.
