New high performance micro-site thejourney.ie launched

The Irish Sports Council has launched a new micro-site to provide an ongoing journal of Ireland's elite athletes. The hard work, the highs and lows. Unvarnished and authentic.

While most people only ever see the one day when the athlete performs, The Journey aims to show what happens on the other 364 days to get them to that point and the ongoing cycle thereafter.

Our first Journey features Olympic Gold Medallist, Katie Taylor and includes three short videos documenting;

• The Journey Part 2: Katie V You (Step into the ring. Feel the fear)
• The Journey Part 3: We Try Twice Because They Train Once
