CRICKET Irish men's squad announced for Tour
An Irish Squad of 15 was named for the upcoming tour of UAE and Bangladesh. The team will play UAE from 6-9 March and 3 ODI’s against Bangladesh on 18th, 20th and 22nd March.
With Jeremy Bray unavailable due to a shoulder injury, there is a place with the new young batting star, Paul Stirling, currently away with the Irish team at the U/19 World Cup in Malaysia. Other new faces are left arm bowlers Philip Eaglestone and Reinhardt Strydom.
Trent Johnston will once again captain the squad. William Porterfield has replaced Kyle McCallan as vice-captain.
