Ireland Hosts the World federations Official Pre-Olympic Games Camp

Two pre-London 2012 Holding Camps for players from several badminton nations will will take place in Ireland next month.


From July 9, players from several developing badminton nations will train with Irish Olympian Chloe Magee and eight High performance squad players at the Marino Institute of Education in Dublin. Former Korean and British national coach Lee Jae Bok and Irish national coach Dan Magee, will supervise.


After the Irish Olympians head to the Olympic Council of Ireland's preparation camp in St Mary's, London (from 21st July), five South African players will train in Ireland a week later.


In total, some fourteen badminton Olympians from eight nations will train in Ireland in the build-up to the London Games.
