Splaine Names Squad for Friday's Rotterdam Nations Cup

Team Ireland's show jumping manager Robert Splaine has now announced the five horse and rider combinations who will make up the Irish squad at the fourth leg of the Superleague Nations' Cup series due to take place at Rotterdam in the Netherlands on Friday afternoon.

The Irish squad, in alphabetical order, is:

Shane Breen/Cos I Can (ISH)
Jessica Kurten/Voss
Denis Lynch/Abbervail Van Het Dingeshof
Clem McMahon/Pacino
Cian O'Connor/Blue Loyd.

Splaine will select his team of four before Friday.

The FEI Nations' Cup Superleague comprises eight legs. Rotterdam will be followed by Aachen, Germany on July 5, Falsterbo, Sweden on July 13, Hickstead, Gt. Britain on July 20, with the final competition in the 2012 series taking place at the Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show on Friday August 17.
