Final Day of Racing at the Laser Radial Worlds

20 May 2012

Today was the final day of racing for Annalise Murphy at the Laser Radial World Championships in Germany. Racing was postponed for three hours as there was barely any wind. Later a sea breeze came in and there were six to eight knots for the first race and ten to twelve knots for the second. She finished the week with a 33rd and a 55th which left her 25th overall. ISA Performance Director commented "This was a tough week for Annalise. A poor start on day one meant it was always going to be an uphill battle. Between now and the Olympics there is plenty of work to do".
