At the 2011 Dunlop Motorsport Ireland Champions of Irish Motorsport Awards, Dublin today, Craig Breen rounded off an incredible season when he was named the Motorsport Ireland, International Driver of the Year.

Craig was presented with the Manley Memorial Trophy by Shelagh Manley. The Award was extra special to Craig as the winner is nominated by the Irish Motorsport Press.

On received the Barney Manley Trophy, Craig said, "To win this award today caps what has been an unbelievable year.

This award means a lot to me as, number one; the winner is chosen by the Irish Motorsport Press and number two; my greatest hero in rallying, Frank Meagher was a former winner. To follow his footsteps is a great achievement. It has been another tough season but the rewards have come from hard work, dedication and a great team that I've around me. Winning the WRC Academy Championship on Rally GB is something that I will remember for a long time. Next year I will take the next step in my WRC career by moving up to SWRC, I'm already working on putting my schedule together."
