European Youth Championships - Semi Finals

Five Irish boxers will be involved in today's semi-finals at the European Youth Championships at the Citywest Hotel Convention Centre in Dublin. Stephen Broadhurst, Jack Morrissey, Joe Fitzpatrick, Michael O'Reilly and Gary Sweeny are through to the last-four.


All five are guaranteed at least bronze.Today's semi-finals will be decided over two sessions starting at 2pm and 7pm. Please see above attachment for full draw.

  • 52Kg: Joe Fitzpatrick (Ireland) v Vasily Vetkin (Russia)
  • 69Kg: Michael O'Reilly (Ireland) v Vikar Murashin (Belarus)
  • 81Kg: Gary Sweeney (Ireland) v Nikita Versockis (Latvia)
