Calling all volunteers....Are you free on Sunday July 24th?

Meath Local Sports Partnership in association with the Irish Sports Council will host the An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour on Sunday July 24th. This is the third year of the tour and we are expecting over 1500 cyclists to descend on Meath this weekend. The event is targeted at everyone within the community who possess a bike and a helmet! There will be four distances on the day:

• 12km Family Spin
• 40km Tara Loop
• 100km Royal Tour
• 160km Royal Challenge

We need your help on the day, Volunteers will 'man' junctions, give directions, provide refreshments and most of all give much needed encouragement to cyclists along the route. This event is a fabulous opportunity to showcase the county of Meath in all its finery, so why don't you come out along the route and cheer on the cyclists.
