Madeline Perry Reaches Career High World Number 3 (squash)

Irish Squash are delighted to announce that Madeline Perry has reached a career high of World Number 3 in the April WISPA World Rankings released today.

This is a fantastic achievement for Perry who reached the final of the Kuala Lumpar Open in March finishing runner up to World Number 1 Nicol David.

Perry has consistently come within striking distance of performing at the top level in the major events and a World Number 3 is a very satisfying outcome for the Bainbridge native.

Perry is currently on route to the Cayman Islands to compete in the Cayman Islands Open which is another Gold Event taking place from April 3rd - 9th 2011.

Perry will return to home shores later this month to defend her title at Irish Open in Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club, Dublin which takes place from April 11th - April 16th.
