Irish Sports Council to Support Operation Transformation

This year Operation Transformation is teaming up with the Irish Sports Council to organise a number of special nationwide sporting events. Get your family out and active this year at one - or all! - of the following days of activity.

Saturday 15th January - The Operation Transformation National Walk

• Walking is one of the best exercises you can do. And it's free! This is your chance to get out and about and do some walking with your family, friends and community. The walks will take place at venues all over Ireland.For information on walks in your areas please click here

Give A Sport A Go! - Saturday 5th February

• We're convinced you'll love this day! The Irish Sports Council will host a huge day of sporting activities for all the family. This is your chance to Give A Sport A Go! 5K Fun Run - Saturday 19th February

• Yes, it's the ultimate Operation Transformation and Irish Sports Council event. Dublin's Phoenix park will provide the backdrop for the biggest fun sporting event of the season. If you've been following the Operation Transformation exercise plan you'll be well able for this one! Run it, walk it, hop it!
