BASKETBALL National Cup Semi Final Schedule

The schedule for the 2010/11 National Cup Semi finals, which are being hosted by the Glanmire Basketball Club in Cork and take place on the weekend on January 15/16, has been revealed.

The Neptune Stadium and the Parochial Hall will be the venues for the Saturday games featuring the Senior Cup, Under-20 Cup and Under-18 Cup in both men's and women's codes. The Neptune Stadium will host the men's games on this day, while the women's games will take place at the Parochial Hall.

On Sunday, the SuperLeague National Cup semi finals will take centre stage, with reigning women's National Cup champions DCU Mercy taking on 11890 Killester in the opening game, while hosts Team Montenotte Hotel Cork face Meteors in a repeat of last year's semi final.

In the afternoon, Ulster Elks make their first appearance in a semi final when they take on UCD Marian, before reigning treble champions 11890 Killester have a date with Southern Conference leaders UL Eagles.

The National Cup Finals will once again take place at the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght, on January 28/29/30 2011.
RTE Television will cover the National Cups finals, with both the men and women SuperLeague Cup finals selected for live television.
