Europe Africa Wakeboard Championships

Irish team riders enjoyed a great double medal winning success in the Europe Africa Wakeboard Championships in Fagersta, Sweden last weekend.

David O Caoimh won the silver medal in the Junior Men's Final behind gold medal winner Dominik Hemler of Austria. The bronze was won by Matthew Lucini of Italy.

Peter Stewart won the bronze medal in the Open Men's Final, only one point behind the silver medallist, Nikita Martianov of Russia. The gold medal went to British rider Dan Knott.

In the Open Ladies, Sian Hurst, just back after a long-term injury, just failed to make the podium.
