Cycling Daniel Martin wins the Tour de Pologne

Ireland's Daniel Martin won his first ProTour race when winning the five day Tour de Pologne in Krakow on Sunday. .

Daniel sealed his victory with a stage win on Thursday and maintained his advantage for the remainder of the race.

After the race he said " that's my first win in the ProTour and I'm maybe the happiest man in Poland right now. When I got the yellow jersey I did'nt want to give it away. I'm really glad that it all worked out well for us"

Daniel is currently supported under the International Carding Scheme at World Class Level and is also part of Cycling Ireland's High Performance Programme which is funded by the Irish Sports Council.
