BASKETBALL Tough Draw for Ireland Women

Ireland’s Senior Women Basketball team was handed a tough task when the draw for this year’s European campaign was made last weekend in Venice.

Ireland, competing in Division B was drawn in Group A against the Netherlands, Iceland, Switzerland, Slovenia and Montenegro

Ireland’s task is not made any easier in that only two of the games are at home in the National Basketball Arena against Slovenia and Iceland.
