Women on Wheels!

Women of Meath have hit the roads on their bikes in preparation for this year's An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour 2011. And you could join them!

From the hills of Oldcastle to the windy roads of Kilmessan, local cycling clubs in association with Meath Local Sports Partnership have encouraged all ladies to cycle their way to fitness with their new Spin and Train Cycling Programme.

Bringing together women of all abilities, Spin and Train allows them to cycle at their own pace in a fun and enjoyable way. Over a 6 week period the cycling clubs have helped lay the foundation for all these novice cyclists to take part on the Meath Heritage Cycle Tour 40km Tara Loop on July 24th.

Entry is still available for the An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour on July 24th online at www.meathsports.ie or by contacting Meath LSP's office on 046-9067337. Late entries close at midnight on Wednesday 20th July. There are discounted rates available for OAP's/Unemployed and Cycling Ireland members.
