The first programme in the new series of Tracks and Trails will be transmitted on RTE 1 on Friday 16th of November at 7.30pm. Building on the success of Series 1 and 2, the new series will again feature spectacular walks and cycles in stunning locations all over the island of Ireland.

Each programme will again be presented by a different personality exploring the great outdoors in different parts of the country, including Helen Carroll from Ear to the Ground, RTE's Paschal Sheehy, former Rose of Tralee, Aoibhinn Nح Shْilleabhلin, author and science journalists Mary Mulvihill and radio presenter and walking enthusiast John Murray.

Helen Carroll will be exploring the spectacular Ardmore cliff walk and Tramore strands in the first programme in the new series, which will be aired on RTE 1 at 7.30pm. Definitely one not to be missed by all outdoor enthusiasts.

This series is produced by Sherwin Media and has been supported by the Irish Sports Council, through its National Trails Office. It is hoped that the series will encourage more Irish people to enjoy some of the many walking and cycling trails that have been developed in Ireland in recent years.
