Perry shocked the world number one Nicol David in the quarter-finals, and yesterday she overcame the world number five Alison Waters from England in the semi-finals.

Perry lost the first game 10-12, but fought back to claim the next three 11-8, 11-7, 11-9 to seal her place in the decider.

The Banbridge native will face Australian world number four Rachael Grinham in the final.
