Speaking from Glasgow, Team Manager Paul Cassin said, "I am delighted with the team's performance. The manner in which they have conducted their play is a reflection of how well the preparation has gone. We will welcome a days rest tomorrow. "

The championships will run from August 17th - 28th and features nine countries from across Europe and unusually, features a team from Australia, who were invited to participate in the Championships, bringing the total number of participating teams to ten.
