SHOWJUMPING New website launched

ShowjumpingIreland launched its new and improved website on Wednesday 28th January at a lunch held at SJI offices for equestrian press members to discuss increasing show jumping exposure within the mainstream media.

The new website can be found at www.sji.ie and contains a new news section along with all information needed for the upcoming year. The website now accommodates Regional Sections and has menu options to cater for all facets of the sport. Another new feature on the website will be the addition of a classified section for which there will be more details in the March Bulletin.

It will also be updated, on a weekly basis, with photographs from all the major shows from around the country. We will also be taking some contributions from spectators at the shows. The new Online Streaming can also be found on the new site where all major shows will be available to view through our partnership with Irishsport.tv. It is hoped that this will give increased exposure for our show and league sponsors and provide a unique facility to all our owners, riders and associated parties.

This is another long awaited step forward for ShowjumpingIreland as we approach a new season of show jumping in Ireland. Chairman of ShowjumpingIreland Ronan Corrigan is looking forward to the new look site; '' We have seen significant traffic through our sites since the launch of 'Points Online' and 'Registrations Online'. This new dynamic site, which was mainly developed in - house, will help to increase public awareness of SJI and help us deliver ever improving services to our membership.''
