SHOWJUMPING Failte Ireland Dublin Horse Show

Irish Team Manager, Robert Spillane, has named the Irish team for today's Aga Khan Nations Cup at the Fلilte Ireland Dublin Hors Show in the RDS. The team is:

• Cameron Hanley Southwind VDL
• Cian O Connor Rancorrado
• Billy Twomey Je t'Aime Flamenco
• Denis Lynch Lantinus

Ireland is drawn sixth of the world's top ten teams competing. Spillane said "We have a strong team, it's a big challenge, but I am confident we will do well." The first two days have gone well for the Irish riders with three victories and a number of top finishes in the international competitions. On Day One, Sligo's Darragh Kerins riding Night Train won the feature Irish Sports Council Classic Trophy, with Capt Shane Breen winning the opening international event- the Failte Stakes riding River Foyle.Day two saw one Irish victorywith Cap Shane Breen won again winning the Speed Derby riding Mullaghdrin Gold Run from Cian O Connor on Baloufina in second place.
